Feeling Unfulfilled? You’re Probably NOT Doing These Things…

Sometimes we do everything in our power and still feel like we aren’t tapping into our true potential. Oftentimes, we have no idea why we aren’t at the peak of whatever we are striving to do. Ever wonder what it is that could finally take you to the next level? Ever wonder what it is that could unravel your fears and teach you the tools you need to get unstuck so you can increase your vibration and attract more abundance into your life and business?


I know I felt like that for a huge part of my life. I wanted to replace my feelings of fear, scarcity, inadequacy, and dissatisfaction with absolute joy, fulfillment, abundance, confidence, and success? And I know you want all of that, too!


Here are 5 things you are probably NOT doing that will help you unlock your true potential and become the magic of YOU:

You are NOT looking inward. Looking outward means you look for fulfillment from external sources or people; you seek validation from others. You also take on other people’s emotions, as well. For example, if someone else was having a bad day, you may find yourself having one, too. Looking inward means finding confidence in yourself, and knowing that your own self-worth does not hinge upon the approval of other people. Do you feel good about yourself regardless of what someone else does? Can you look inside all the accomplishments you’ve already done and say, I AM WORTH IT?!


You are NOT looking for your purpose in life. Those who feel happiest in life are those who feel like they have a purpose each day. They wake up knowing what they are living for and why they go to work. They feel satisfied by the direction they are pursuing in their lives! Those who feel dissatisfied are those who don’t enjoy their line of work, and find it only as a means to an end…an end which is oftentimes not in sight! Only you can change that!


You are NOT setting realistic goals. After you decide what your purpose is, it’s helpful to set small, realistic goals. Sometimes, establishing your purpose in life may be a long-term goal that takes years to get to…but you need short-term, realistic steps to help keep you on track to getting there. For instance, if you want to land your dream job, you have to lay out a plan including the steps you’re going to take to get there: writing a resume, getting a cover letter together, attending networking events, etc. Realistic, short-term goals are a road map for where you WANT to go in life. You are NOT letting go of the negative-self talk. Do you ever notice that you self-sabotage with negative self-talk? For instance, when you accomplish something great do you tell yourself, “Oh, it wasn’t so great because…” and minimize your awesomeness? Or do you tell yourself that you aren’t good enough in comparison to others? Or do you not believe your true value in the work you do? Listen to those negative voices that and ask yourself if those voices are facts, or coming from somewhere else. Maybe those inner voices are from your childhood, or a past that no longer reflects reality.


You are NOT taking care of your mind and body. Taking care of the vessel that carries your thoughts is huge in terms of how your emotions and self-talk unfold. Your internal self-talk is what translates into actions. When you feel sick, tired, or unhealthy, those feelings manifest into negative thoughts, and lead to negative actions. Make sure you get enough sleep each night, exercise daily, and eat whole, nutrient dense foods!
